Ideas For A Beginner Work At Home Mom

Share

Beginner work at home mom

Everyone has to begin someplace, and if you are a beginner work at home mom, I say: YES!

On the other hand: work at home moms beware.” The yes is because it is such a great idea, and the beware is because there are so many pitfalls. But, it is entirely possible to work at home and be an attentive mom. Women are doing it all the time, in increasing numbers.

There is only so many hours in a day and it is easy to set yourself up for disappointment by having false expectations, especially in the area most likely to succeed: online marketing.

It is a simple fact that online purchases are increasing dramatically every year. It is almost beyond comprehension just how huge the market is and how much is bought every minute online.

The online marketplace is open 24/7/365 in every part of the globe. Think about that for a moment…. Plus, as nearly everything under the sun becomes available to literally everyone under the sun, new opportunities present themselves constantly. The trick is knowing what to do, when to do it and just how to do it.

The good news is that it doesn’t take a fortune to get started, but it does take a commitment. You must be willing to focus, be organized, and be very persistent. If you have a good plan and a good work ethic, you can certainly succeed. Even though there are thousands of other people trying essentially the same thing, the market is so big that there is plenty of room for you.

Personally, I know several women who have done very well by working at home. I also know a few who just were busy, but didn’t really make any money to speak of. The big difference was in having a good plan.

One of the best plans I have ever seen is one made by Rosalind Gardner. She used to be an air-traffic controller until she realized it was literally killing her. Talk about a stressful job!

She sort of stumbled upon her online opportunity and today has a very successful business that affords her a lot of free time. It didn’t happen overnight, but it wasn’t really that difficult or complicated either.

She has a knack for keeping things real and simple. She also explains things in plain English so almost anyone can follow along. She has a great insight into the workings of internet marketing and has an uncanny sense of what to do and when. I guess it’s that women’s intuition again!

Rosalind has a very good book called “The Super Affiliate Handbook.”
It will save you a ton of time and many, many frustrating hours of trying to figure out how all this works. I only wish I had bought it when I first heard about it. No, I was too determined to “do it differently.” Grrr….

Using the Maca Herb For Menopause and Sex-Drive

Share

It’s too bad more women have not found out about using the maca herb to help with menopause and sex drive. It is a totally natural way of building up your stamina in general, and increasing your libido at the same time. Everyone knows that sex-drive often drops to near zero during menopause. It would be wonderful to find a natural way to turn this around.

Actually, maca is not really an herb, but a root grown in the mountains of Peru. It has long been eaten there as a food to give strength and stamina. It also has a very long history as an aphrodisiac. I first learned about maca when I visited Peru. When I asked my friends about it, they all laughed and had lots of interesting stories to tell! You can be sure I bought some as soon as I could!

Here is the best ebook around to help you in your love life… I only wish I owned this a long, long time ago! Grr….You can find out more here.

The amazing thing about maca is that it can do so many different things for the body and overall sense of well-being. This is because maca acts as a hormone balancer in the body. When the body is in balance (homeostasis), then the hormones naturally do their job better. Thus the increase in energy and interest in sex. It has an amazing ability to help balance female hormones.
It does not give you a harsh, chemical effect, rather it makes you feel like you should feel: healthy, alert, and calm at the same time. There are several good places to find pure, organic maca. You will find an excellent comparison of three top suppliers here.

The small expense you pay for maca is well worth it. Your partner will love you for it, and you will be surprised at the various good effects it can have on you. Find out more here.

Help! I Need A Good Book On Borderline Personality Disorder!

Share

Night after night I wondered what was wrong with her. Endless ups and downs, chaos, confusion and completely unpredictable behavior were the norm. A stranger told me about BPD, but I knew nothing at all about it. I asked a lot of people for a book on borderline personality disorder, but nobody knew much.

You see, someone very close to me had become a living nightmare and it was making “normal” life a longed-for fantasy. The worst thing was that I had no idea whatsoever what to do. I really thought it would just go away and everything would become good again. That just was not going to happen though. Our family stress level was unbelievable.

So, my journey into understanding the inner life of a person with BPD began. At the time, I just couldn’t bring myself to ask others for help, so I looked to total strangers and found a chat room just for people like me. That is how I first was introduced to the condition called Borderline Personality Disorder.

One thing I have concluded is that there are no hard and fast symptoms that will automatically diagnose somebody as having BPD. Because the condition is similar in many ways to illnesses such as bi-polar and depression, it mimics them. The big difference though, is that have a personality condition instead of an illness makes it much more difficult to treat.

One day your spouse might be loving and affectionate, and the next day be enraged at you for no apparent reason. Everyone might act like that on a rare occasion, but a person with this disorder just “is” that way. Almost as if it is so entrenched that it becomes a part of their personality, not just a symptom of an illness.

For those who live with people suffering from this (and they really suffer from it), the danger is that you begin to question your own sanity or view of reality. This process is called “crazy-making” and it is quite dangerous. You begin to be affected by the other person to the degree that your own life begins to unravel. It is wise to educate yourself and find some support.

Personally, the two books “Stop Walking On Eggshells” and “I Hate You! Don’t Leave Me” are invaluable. They are not difficult to read, and will give you a very solid foundation to reclaim your own life, or prevent it from being slowly taken from you. Your stress level will go down as you arm yourself with solid understanding.

Both books are full of practical advice as well as medical documentation. Before I read them I felt so alone, then I realized that there were thousands of others just like me, looking for answers.

You can find “Stop Walking On Eggshells” here, and “I Hate You! Don’t Leave Me” here. Take the time, read them and you will get power to be strong and help the one you love. Your family stress level will certainly be reduced.

A Great Book On Bordeline Personality Disorder

Share

I hate you! Don’t leave me! This is the title of a very good book on borderline personality disorder. Anybody who has had much to do with another person who has borderline personality disorder will quickly recommend a book such as this. I highly recommend this book.

Few things in family life are more eggasperating than dealing with such a person. You can easily begin to think there is something wrong with you, it is called “crazy-making.” This is the process in which the ill person has such a poweful effect on you that you begin to question your own sanity and view of reality. From personal, first hand experience, I must say that this book, “I hate you! Don’t leave me”, is invaluable. It will clarify what is confusing and set your mind at ease, more or less.

At one time, I thought I must be the only person living with such an imbalanced loved one. It was very helpful to find out that there were many other such people, all trying their best to love their loved one, in spite of all the madness. The author gives great guidlines, definitions, and insight into the mind and world of the person with BPD. This is a very little known illness in the eyes of the general public, but it is actually more common than I thought.

One thing that I had always suspected was that this illness is somehow connected with the spirit of our times. With the changing roles in families, disintegrating boundaries of right and wrong, and social upheaval of morals, it is not really surprising to see the increase incidence of BPD.

It also confirmed what I had observed: stability and routine are essential to help your loved one. This can be very difficult to do, since so many are single parents and the demands of daily life can be so stressful. Teenagers especially need their parents present, even if it appears the opposite. Family stress is reduced when they feel secure, even as they are pushing you away!

I highly recommend this book to anyone living with someone with borderline personality, even if it is not official. You can find it here.

Stress and the New Year

Share

With your arms around the future and your back up against the past, we are all just hoping for the best for you and your loved ones! This can be a very intense time of year, for sure. Visitors, kids out of school, holidays, driving, flying, having guests and all that goes with winter as well. There are a lot of useful things you can do to manage stress and the New Year.

  • Slow down! I don’t know about you, but I have so many things on my plate that the only way to get them done is to do them! I have had to weed out some things I was previously doing because it was just too much. Somebody said that “the good is the enemy of the perfect.” How true. Take some time, everyday just to be. It is amazing how rejuvenating this can be.
  • Make time for friends. Give that loved one a call. Write that letter or email you’ve been thinking about. Do something simple with a friend. Do something different for somebody else.
  • Resolutions are great, they really are. Just make them realistic, but make them. Write them down, make a plan that you can actually follow. If you don’t know where you are going, any road will take you there. Talk it over with your partner or a friend. One time I made a resolution with a friend and we checked on one another. It really helped, I actually made real progress!
  • Read a good book! A healer friend of mine gave me good advice once. She told me that if I didn’t get new thoughts from great thinkers, I would just keep thinking the same routine thoughts over and over again. Seems simple, but it is very true. We need fresh water for the mind and nourishment for the soul.
  • Reconnect, or improve your connection with God, or the higher power, or whatever you personally call it. Our little speck of dust body and marvellous humanity just cannot exist without inspiration from the unseen world. Our spirits need life! This ugly world can add stress upon stress to our weary souls, and we need all the help we can get.
  • Say thank you more!

A great and very inexpensive way to learn how to manage your personal stress can be found in my ebook, “Stress Secrets.” It is full of useful, personal insight on dealing with difficult people. You will learn how to grow as a healthy person in the midst of life’s many obstacles. Find out more here.

Avoid Holiday Stress and Remember Why We Do This!

Share

Christmas can be so wonderful, or it can be very stressful, it all depends on how we take it (or make it). Remember how excited you used to get as a child? All the anticipation, Avoid Holiday Stresslooking through catalogs endlessly, listening for Santa at night? It was almost unbearable!

One good way to avoid holiday stress is to keep it simple and remember the people in our lives. Running around, buying useless gifts, getting sucked up into the credit card spree is totally against the very idea of sharing and giving. It is wonderful to give and receive gifts at this time of year and can truly mean a lot, but falling into the commercial trap can take away the simple joys and will certainly add to the stress level.

Instead, bake some bread together, make cookies, sing songs, read stories, play games, or just spend time talking together. A walk outside, a hike in the woods, a little road trip or a special breakfast together with all the favorites can mean so much to both the parents and the children.

Who needs more stuff! I remember one time my son had so many gifts that some were accidentally thrown out with the trash and he never even knew it! Too much of a good thing can become a bad thing and soon it means so little!

May your holidays be blessed and your new year the best ever!

A Great Way To Reduce Family Stress

Share

One area where families are facing more and more stress is in the finances. Duh! Yet the public just seems to keep moving along as if everything were normal. I can tell you that it is not, not at all!

Seems that so many people I know are “in the fight of their lives” for economic survival. It becomes a vicious cycle: stress and anxiety from a lack of money, and a lack of money because of the stress induced headaches, or insomina, etc.

Perhaps you have used a T-shirt of underwear made by Fruit of the Loom at some time or other. Maybe today! What’s that got to do with stress and families? Not much, except that a man named Bill Farley used to be the CEO of that company, as well as a few other very successful ones.

Now, Mr. Farley has formed another company, called Zrii. Zrii is a Sanskrit word that means“light, luster, splendor, beauty, good fortune, prosperity, and wealth.” They picked this name because of the product and they opportunity it presents for the average Joe and Jane.

Normally I don’t get too excited about new companies or network marketing. I’ve had too many weirdos pushing soap and pills on me! But a good friend of mine told me about this and I respect her opinion. So, I investigated and I was floored. I really was impressed.

What really got my attention was the fact that Deepak Chopra and his Center for Wellbeing endorses this new venture. It is the first time they have ever endorsed anything at all!

You see, Zrii is the name of the company, and the main product is a nutritional drink made from a fruit called amalaki. Amalaki is the central fruit in the Ayurvedic tradition of Indian healing. Nobody had been able to make a palatable drink up to this point. That’s where Mr. Farley comes in.

With his resources, he assembled a team of scientists and medical doctors to figure out a way to make this stuff taste good. They did, and now, for the first time, anyone can benefit from the healing powers of this amazing fruit. Not only that, but the scientists have been able to document the properties and prove it’s merit. It isn’t just hearsay or stories, but fact.

Then, they made the compensation plan so that the average person could get going quickly and build some real income. Who couldn’t use a few extra $100 a month? Not to mention $1000′s per month!

Network marketing has grown up. It is no longer pushy people selling brushes and soap to their mother and all their relatives! Zrii is on top of their game. By using internet marketing techniques the hard sell is gone! They have a great program that nearly anyone who is willing to work hard can master.

Just think, wouldn’t this be a great way to reduce family stress? Sometimes the stars just line up. You can learn more here…

Where Can You Find an Adult Acne Product Review?

Share

find adult acne review

A good adult acne product review can save you a ton of time and searching. The stress that comes from adult acne can be devastating. It can be a vicious cycle: stress causes acne and acne causes stress!

A two pronged approach has worked for many people:

  1. Manage the stress that helps cause the acne
  2. Treat the acne that causes the stress

How can you manage the stress?

  • Plenty of fresh, clean water. Just plain old water. It has the ability to clean you from the inside. It is not so easy to drink 8 cups of water a day, but it will wash away many impurities from your system. Not coffee, not soda, not anything else but water!
  • Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables. Avoid greasy foods. In spite of what some “authorities” claim, just ask anyone with adult acne and they usually tell you that greasy foods cause almost immediate acne. The enzymes in the fruit and vegetables help with digestion, which in turn helps with the acne.
  • Vigorous exercise can work wonders for acne. It helps clean out the pores by sweating and it also cleanses the entire system of impurities. You want to try and keep impurities out of your skin, which is, after all, an organ.
  • If the acne is directly related to a stressful situation, such as a high-powered job that puts too much pressure on you, you might have to make some changes. One man I personally know was promoted beyond his ability to cope and he had the worst acne as a reaction. As soon as he was transferred from the “big city” back to his small town and old job, his acne disapeared.

It might not be so easy to change your circumstances, but you need to do something proactively. Wringing the hands just won’t do much.

How Can You Manage the Acne?

I have prepared an adult acne product review to give you an idea of what some of the leading products are and how they compare.

I have seen people with very persistant adult acne get fantastic, almost miraculous results from using some of these products. The cost is minimal compared to the benefits. You can see the product review here.

Agghh! I Can’t Sleep! Is There an Herbal Insomnia Remedy?

Share

herbal insomnia remedy

It’s enough to make your crazy! You can’t get a restful nights’ sleep, and it is wearing you thin! You don’t really want to take a prescription medication because of the side effects and chance of forming a habit.

What about an herbal insomnia remedy?

If your insomnia is primary, meaning it is not caused by some physical condition such as cancer or a torn ligament or some such thing, then an herbal remedy might truly help you.

This can range from very simple herbs such as chamomile tea or warm milk. Both of these are actually quite effective for mild insomnia. However, when the stress of a hectic daily life presses on you like a vise, you will need a more potent remedy.

For starters, things like too much coffee or soft drinks are obvious, but a lot of people just overlook it. Stimulating things like TV or movies before bed can keep you awake as well. Just imagine you subconscious mind sorting out all the drama and horror on the screen while you are trying to sleep. This goes on behind the scenes, but it is going on nevertheless.

You body might need some help due to stress

Melatonin normally regulates your body’s perception of “night” and “day” and stimulates sleep when night falls.Sometimes when people suffer from insomnia it is because they do not produce enough of this compound. Our crazy lives with it’s stress can also cause lower levels of melatonin, as well as GABA (gamma amino butyric acid). Both of these are essential for a good nights’ sleep.

One very popular herbal insomnia remedy is called Melatrol. It is compounded of natural ingredients and has no habit forming qualities. It also has no harmful side effects. The power lies in it’s balance of the natural ingredients that help you sleep and develop good sleep patterns.

You can save a lot of money by buying their complete package, you receive two free bottles. This is a simple way to get a healthy habit of sleep and deep rest without spending a lot of money or risking side effects and dependency on pharmaceuticals. Your body will love you for it!

There really is no reason to continue suffering from insomnia, in most cases.  There are a lot of things that are very simple and very helpful. A nice, long walk can work wonders. It gives your body some exercise, improves circulation, and allows you a chance to think things over in a refreshing way. You might even get some inspirations and bright ideas.

Natural herbal insomnia remedies are not harsh like some drugs can be. Plus, they are not habit forming. Sometimes we all need a little help to get to sleep. It could be due to stress, overwork, sore muscles, or just some reason we don’t understand.  Another excellent herbal sleep aid is called Deep Dreams. It also works by replicating your body’s natural release of melatonin.  Here is a great place to get Deep Dreams, plus all kinds of other very interesting things to help reduce stress.
