Ideas For A Beginner Work At Home Mom

Everyone has to begin someplace, and if you are a beginner work at home mom, I say: YES!
On the other hand: “work at home moms beware.” The yes is because it is such a great idea, and the beware is because there are so many pitfalls. But, it is entirely possible to work at home and be an attentive mom. Women are doing it all the time, in increasing numbers.
There is only so many hours in a day and it is easy to set yourself up for disappointment by having false expectations, especially in the area most likely to succeed: online marketing.
It is a simple fact that online purchases are increasing dramatically every year. It is almost beyond comprehension just how huge the market is and how much is bought every minute online.
The online marketplace is open 24/7/365 in every part of the globe. Think about that for a moment…. Plus, as nearly everything under the sun becomes available to literally everyone under the sun, new opportunities present themselves constantly. The trick is knowing what to do, when to do it and just how to do it.
The good news is that it doesn’t take a fortune to get started, but it does take a commitment. You must be willing to focus, be organized, and be very persistent. If you have a good plan and a good work ethic, you can certainly succeed. Even though there are thousands of other people trying essentially the same thing, the market is so big that there is plenty of room for you.
Personally, I know several women who have done very well by working at home. I also know a few who just were busy, but didn’t really make any money to speak of. The big difference was in having a good plan.
One of the best plans I have ever seen is one made by Rosalind Gardner. She used to be an air-traffic controller until she realized it was literally killing her. Talk about a stressful job!
She sort of stumbled upon her online opportunity and today has a very successful business that affords her a lot of free time. It didn’t happen overnight, but it wasn’t really that difficult or complicated either.
She has a knack for keeping things real and simple. She also explains things in plain English so almost anyone can follow along. She has a great insight into the workings of internet marketing and has an uncanny sense of what to do and when. I guess it’s that women’s intuition again!
Rosalind has a very good book called “The Super Affiliate Handbook.”
It will save you a ton of time and many, many frustrating hours of trying to figure out how all this works. I only wish I had bought it when I first heard about it. No, I was too determined to “do it differently.” Grrr….

looking through catalogs endlessly, listening for Santa at night? It was almost unbearable!
